Are we up for non-intellectual fiction? "The Oath" by Frank Peretti, the 'King of Christian Fiction'.
The grabber is "An ancient sin. A long forgotten oath. A town with a deadly secret."
It's kind of a thriller, but I think it would be a fairly quick page turner.

we are definitely up for a fiction. fiction is always easier to discuss than non.

i just read Invisible Monster by chuck palahniuk, and im so ready to read more of his works (auth of fight club).

the oath also sounds fun. like watching a tv show that's on E! and not PBS...

i am also a fan of c.p. I read rant and survivor. both were really good, quick reads. however, to sound like a real wussy, i don't like some of the dirty things i learn or visualize while reading his books. I feel a little guilty after i read them, and wish i didn't know those things. They are also the sort of thing that doesn't get erased from your memory for a while. romans 4:8

im always a fan of cp!

it seems like we cant decide on a book but just to be difficult here are my suggestions:

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult (check out the plot!)
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger (ive already read this and LOVED it. the movie is coming out and if you havent read it please do before the movie!)
