left and right brain

from reading the first few chapters, you get an idea of what each hemisphere of the brain is responsible for. are you more "left brained" or "right brained"?

I like to process information in sequential order and look at things in parts (the trees and not the forest). I like details (e.g. colored tags inside clothes that no one gets to see but you) and the little things make me enormously happy. I do tend to focus on rules/regulations/acceptability which is tragic, I know.

That being said, I do dream wildly and am incredibly subjective (vs. objective) to most if not all social situations. I love questions that have no right answer and like to debate gray areas. If something has a right or wrong answer it frustrates me…(however white socks with black pants is always a wrong).

Still, I am predominantly left brained.

i think i am left brained. this book is making me remember fights i had with my best friend when i was little. she would yell things at me like "you're not FEEEEEEEELLINNGG. stop being such a rock!" which pretty much screams left brain.

i think society may value the left brain more, which is why we have starving artists, literally. i wonder if society pushes kids to be more left-brained, or if it's just something that most people would do anyways.

i feel like i try very hard to appreciate the way someone who is right brained thinks. it is a difficult task because i personally value left brained notions so much more. for some reason this article reminded me of left/right and how it impacts our lives in a subtle way. i read it senior year and it won the pulitizer worth the read and viewing the videos...

i have both brains. i'm smart and creative. i like puppies...which side of the brain do they belong to, i wonder. that would be the stronger side of my brain.
